The flagship of the in-wall C8 range, this speaker combines a pair of 8” bass drivers, along with the 5.25” midrange and AMT ribbon tweeter. Low frequency extension goes down to a remarkable 55Hz, allowing this model to be used as stereo-only speaker in larger rooms, as well as for main and surround-channel duties.

Developed following an exhaustive acoustic testing and evaluation programme, the C8 Series is UandKsound’s latest generation of custom installation loudspeakers, created for discerning integrators who demand exceptional performance, installation flexibility and architecturally discreet aesthetics.

The range currently comprises three passive models: the C823IW, C813IW and C1021SUB, each engineered to deliver a seamless and immersive listening experience. Each model is voice- and timbre-matched not just across the C8 Series, but also with the wider UandKSound loudspeaker portfolio. This ensures that integrators are guaranteed a consistent sonic performance throughout every room in an installation, no matter which mix of models have been used.

All of the new C8 loudspeakers are built around a newly developed ultra-slim, rigid enclosure (100mm deep) designed to maximise acoustic performance while still maintaining a discreet visual presence.

Inside each you’ll find a precision-engineered crossover, assembled using premium-grade components. Large air-cored inductors, high-purity copper wiring and low-distortion capacitors preserve signal integrity and reveal every nuance of the original recording, delivering outstanding clarity as well as control.

To support the cleanest architectural integration, UandKSound employs ultra-low-profile micro-perforated grilles that blend almost invisibly into walls and ceilings, firmly secured using neodymium magnetic mountings. Installation efficiency is further enhanced through threaded mounting points, quick fastening dog-leg fixings and premium gold-plated ‘push-type binding posts.

UandKSound’s favoured AMT ribbon tweeter technology has also been further refined for the C8 series to deliver wider high-frequency dispersion, improved directivity and exceptionally low distortion. Moreover, the tweeters in both the C823IW and C813IW can be manually rotated, providing greater placement flexibility, while integrated HF (High Frequency) adjustment enables precise fine-tuning calibration for every room environment.

Midrange performance is delivered via a purpose-designed 5.25” pro-grade driver ,designed to reproduce dialogue with exceptional clarity, presence and realism, for true cinema-grade performance. Low frequencies are reproduced by 8” bass drivers, engineered for ultimate control and dynamics.

[For applications where in-wall installation is not possible because of physical restrictions, UandKSound can supply optional on-wall mounting frames for the C8 Series.]
