This is the ultimate C6-series home theatre loudspeaker. It features two of our 6.5” bass drivers, paired with a 4” midrange drive unit and AMT tweeter, all housed in a metal-plate baffle, fitted into a long, sealed MDF cabinet. The end result is a huge soundstage, with crisp high frequencies, a communicative midrange and powerful bass that reaches down to 60Hz.

Incorporating the same fundamental technologies used for the C8 Series, the C6 Series has been added to our line-up to further increase the range’s flexibility, and so create an offering that appeals to an even greater number of integrators.

The new C623IW, C613IW and C612IW complete our line-up of CI loudspeakers. All the new models are voice and timbre matched with one another, and are housed in extra-slim, sealed cabinets that offer a great sounding, immersive experience.

As with the C8 Series, each loudspeaker crossover is carefully designed and uses the highest-quality components. These include massive air-cored inductor coils, thick, high-purity copper wire, and selected low-distortion capacitors, to ensure that every possible nuance of the original audio signal is preserved.

Achieving a discreet visual presence is obviously an important consideration for end customers; to that end, each of the speakers has a depth of just 90mm (10mm less than the C8 series), allowing them easily to fit into the vast majority of standard walls.

All UandKSound speakers come with ultra-low profile, micro-perforated grilles, which are securely attached using ‘hidden’ neodymium magnets, for near invisible integration into any wall or ceiling. What’s more, the new C6 Series speakers also include quick-lock, dog-leg fasteners and push-type, gold-plated binding posts for fast hook-up.

For high-frequency  the C6 uses favoured AMT ribbon tweeters, tuned to deliver wide high frequency dispersion, low distortion and enhanced directivity. In the C623IW and C613IW speakers, the tweeters can be manually rotated to offer more installation flexibility, and  have a switchable HF (High Frequency) selector located alongside, ensuring that installers can fine-tune the response.

For midrange duties, we’ve developed a 4” pro-grade driver, fitted with a roll-edge surround (to maximise cone stability and transient response), offering exceptional clarity when reproducing human voice and dialogue. The low frequency driver, meanwhile, is a flush-mounted 6.5” unit, employing a dish-profile, composite pulp cone, topped with an inverted dust cap, a combination that minimises undesirable high frequency reflections from the driver.

[Please note that for maximum flexibility, we can also supply custom-designed on-wall frames for the C6 Series, should there be construction-related restrictions that mean the loudspeakers cannot easily be installed in-wall.]

As you would expect, we carry out extensive listening tests on each speaker we manufacture, ensuring that each and every one is fully ‘burned-in’, as well as measuring its key performance parameters throughout the production process. All of the in-wall speakers offer a high 89dB sensitivity, making them easy to drive.
